A family intranet site that helps families stay in touch, even when members are located far apart. Features photo sharing, group calendar, group blog, gift lists, and more.

Engagement: Co-founder in charge of engineering. Designed and developed 90% of site. PHP, JQuery, and MySQL.

dublit: meet write hear

A social network for writers and those looking to discover new writers, with a unique focus on audio recordings of short stories, poetry, essays, and nonfiction.

Engagement: Contract engineer. Heavy Drupal customization and theming, including integrating a Web-based audio recorder and developing an audio player widget.

UCSF Clinical and Translational Science Institute

The CTSI Virtual Home program aims to bring “better health to more people more quickly” by promoting research and education in clinical and translational science.

Engagement: Consultant. Assessed technology needs for an upcoming site launch and provided a recommendation and integration plan for an appropriate content & community management system.

California Pan-Ethnic Health Network

CPEHN is an Oakland-based nonprofit that works to ensure that all Californians have access to quality health care and can live healthy lives.

Engagement: Contract engineer (via Leland Design). Implemented a total site redesign, added newsletter subscription functionality, and upgraded CPEHN’s custom CMS and CRM tools.

International Rivers: People, Water, Life

The International Rivers Web site helps the nonprofit disseminate research and raise awareness of the issues threatening rivers around the world and the communities that depend on them for life.

Engagement: Contracted to provide stylesheet support and training.

ELDR: Celebrate Aging!

This online component of the print magazine seeks to inspire the “60-plus” audience as its members experience the joys and challenges of aging.

Engagement: Contracted (via Leland Design) to implement design elements and update stylesheets to ensure cross-browser compatibility.
